Dev uses Astra on ultra to blueprint systems and build a game's first vertical slice
Dimillian · x · 2026-09-06
Developer Dimillian shares his AI-assisted game development workflow with Astra: first asking it to list all systems the game would need, then having it write that into a roadmap document for tracking progress, and finally building a strong first vertical slice with the base of all those systems (on ultra mode).
He notes the result is a fun game with the basics in place, and that the coherence of the game world is already impressive, though many systems could be expanded and polished.
