Coinbase demoed Payments MCP, giving an AI agent its own crypto wallet without API keys.
- In the live setup, the wallet already held $90 from prior micro payments
- Client-side spending limits work: "I only want this agent to spend $5 max" — beyond that, actions require approval inside Claude
