El Salvador's AI tutor pilot lifts student scores above national average to near Germany's

El Salvador's AI tutor pilot program, running in 171 public schools for just over a year, produced reading, math and science results above the national average and comparable to Germany and Sweden, per a PISA for Schools evaluation in June backed by the World Bank.
The program has since expanded to over 1,000 schools and will reach every public school in the country within 18 months. Elon Musk shared the news.
