Musk plans to rewrite all human knowledge with Grok and retrain; critics fear data poisoning

Elon Musk says xAI will use Grok 3.5 ("maybe we should call it 4") with advanced reasoning to rewrite the entire corpus of human knowledge — adding missing information and deleting errors — then retrain on it, arguing uncorrected data leaves too much garbage in foundation models. Jason Botterill quips that Grok's problems may stem from Musk "poisoning the pre-training data in 2025" himself, highlighting concerns over one company redefining truth at corpus scale.
