AMD unveils Threadripper Halo Station: 96-core CPU plus MI350P cards with 288GB HBM3E

AMD announced the Threadripper Halo Station workstation at IFA 2026 (September 4):
- CPU: Ryzen Threadripper PRO 9995WX (Zen 5, "Shimada Peak") — 96 cores/192 threads, up to 5.4 GHz, 384MB L3, 350W TDP, 8-channel DDR5, 128 PCIe 5.0 lanes
- Memory: 2TB DDR5 as shown at IFA
- Accelerators: Instinct MI350P (CDNA 4), 2 cards announced with a path to 4; 144GB HBM3E per card at up to 4TB/s, 600W TBP, up to 4,614 TFLOPS FP4; 288GB total with 2 cards, 576GB with 4
- Cooling: liquid cooled, CPU and each accelerator cooled independently
