A new interactive timeline (foom.hyperplex.org) by @lumpenspace compiles Eliezer Yudkowsky's public AI predictions from 1996 onward. Reposting it, perry metzger notes someone has finally quantified how accurate they were — and the verdict is that they're terrible. A useful, checkable record of doom-forecaster track records.
