yacineMTB shares first-hand experience using frontier models for hardware work: they're now 'way way better' at CAD and PCB design, but still sneak in unnecessary fixes without being asked and fail to crack tasks previous models couldn't do hands-free. He says he's tackling unsolved robotics problems for fun and still finds the model 'incredibly intelligent.'
