Tesla launched the Cybercab with no steering wheel or pedals, priced at $25,000. Operating costs are estimated at 30-40 cents per mile, closer to a city bus than a cab. Once the driver is gone, steering column, pedals, mirrors, and even back seats can be removed since most ride-hail trips carry one or two people. Some call it a miracle for humanity, while others note it's a car you'll never be allowed to drive.
