OpenPresence: A Framework for Deploying Autonomous Social Media Agents
RichardsonDx · x · 2026-08-28
The author introduces OpenPresence, a custom social media agent harness, currently deployed to manage accounts for GitGlance (Poko), Ideagrape (Berry), and Munibeacon (Beacon). OpenPresence enables agents to autonomously manage and grow social media accounts. The author compares it to Grok Bot: while Grok Bot requires specific commands or schedules, OpenPresence allows assigning a mission and letting the agent operate continuously on social channels.
