OpenResearch Launches AutoResearch: Automating Paper Replication with Agent Swarms
simonguozirui · x · 2026-08-28
OpenResearch has introduced AutoResearch, enabling users to replicate and experiment on any arXiv paper using swarms of Claude/Codex agents. The agents work in parallel within isolated worktrees, utilizing existing tools and compute locally or via a remote compute marketplace. The tool, available as a macOS Universal app or CLI, automates experiment management for tasks like baseline reproduction, context window testing, hyperparameter sweeps, and ablations.
