Open-Source Robot Model MolmoACT2 Folds Towels Zero-Shot Out of the Box

The author tested MolmoACT2, an openly downloadable robot model, on a zero-shot towel folding task—the model attempts cloth manipulation right away.
Calling it "the future is incredible," the author says RL fine-tuning is the next step, showing the community can now reproduce dexterous manipulation from a public model.
