Dinkus, a distraction-free Markdown studio for Mac by Will McGugan (creator of Rich & Textual), unexpectedly hit #1 on the Mac App Store paid apps chart. It offers visual Markdown editing (no preview pane), typewriter/focus modes, visual table and image editing, syntax-highlighted code blocks — all saved as plain .md on disk, no account, works offline. Launch price $7.99 (normally $9.99).
