Prominent AI researcher Anima Anandkumar announced Reuters' coverage of her startup Accelerated Understanding, which trains large-scale AI models to simulate and understand physics for invention and discovery.
The models understand the world directly in 4D (3D + time) and across physical phenomena. Full 4D demands massive context length: the team has pushed it to a trillion tokens in training and over 5 trillion at inference.
