A custom ComfyUI node was released to optimize VRAM usage by completely clearing the Text Encoder during the sampling phase.
Principle & Effect:
- Standard workflows leave Text Encoder remnants in VRAM during sampling.
- This node forces a full unload before the Diffusion model loads, ensuring only model weights occupy VRAM.
- Expected Effect: Enables higher resolution and longer video generation.
Availability:
- Included in Deno custom nodes v0.7.91.
- Available on ComfyUI Manager in 3-4 hours.
