Indie dev advice: don't build what LLMs can do, unless you're good enough to get acquired
sujingshen · x · 2026-08-20
@sujingshen argues indie developers should avoid building anything LLMs can already do — unless you're experienced enough to make it truly excellent and get acquired. The logic: any product space LLMs can casually cover will see indie moats erode fast; the one exception is building top-tier and exiting via acquisition.
