Toronto-based startup Veeda AI raised over $90M in seed funding led by Radical Ventures and Khosla, marking one of the largest seed rounds in Canadian history. Founded by ex-NVIDIA researchers Sanja Fidler, Huan Ling, and Zgojcic, the company is building what they call "The Matrix for physical AI." Their goal is to develop world models that allow robots to learn via trial and error in simulation, avoiding costly real-world failures.
