X Algorithm Explained: Direct Link Clicks Won't Game Ranking, Only Home Timeline Actions Count

Nikita Bier explained how the X (formerly Twitter) algorithm works: because ranking weight is only applied to organic interactions within the Home Timeline, coordinating group chats to click on a direct link won't affect the post's ranking. Users also cannot artificially force their posts to appear in others' timelines in a reproducible way.
