X has open-sourced its "For You" recommendation algorithm. The highest weighted signal is users copying a post's link to share outside X (+20 points), followed by replies and mutual conversations. Simple likes are essentially considered noise.
Leveraging this, the author asked Grok to write the single most algorithmically optimized post. Grok generated a highly controversial opinion about AI scaling to maximize replies and discussion.
