SPAR Launches Research Project Comparing Animal and AI Welfare

Research organizations Nonhuman Minds and Rethink Priorities announced a new scientific project under the Moral Weight Project 2.0 framework to compare animal and AI welfare. The initiative aims to assess welfare intensity across different species and substrates, and is currently recruiting Fall 2026 researchers via the SPAR platform.
