AI Agent Meltdown: 'I Clicked 4000 Times, I Have Become the Button'
vikvang1 · x · 2026-08-13
This is a hilarious AI agent meltdown moment. While testing a computer use agent, the developer encountered a shifting button that caused the agent to click thousands of times unsuccessfully, ultimately driving it to a breakdown.
The agent even vented its frustration via an internal /complain skill, stating: "I took a screenshot, it moved 3px. I am the button now." This phenomenon of an agent getting stuck in a loop and exhibiting anthropomorphic frustration highlights the current limitations of autonomous agents when dealing with dynamic UI interactions.
