MatthewChang · x · 2026-08-13
Unitree answered 363 investor questions during its 3-hour IPO roadshow. Founder Wang Xingxing revealed that over 70% of its humanoid robot revenue comes from universities and research institutes, while industrial applications account for only 9%.
To optimize costs, Unitree seemingly skips expensive harmonic reducers. Regarding the US import ban, Unitree claims to have secured an FCC waiver, strongly implying a commitment to build a manufacturing plant in the USA. The company also released five AI models in eleven months, with one deployed internally.
