Physical Intelligence co-founder: robotics is entering its GPT era

At YC Startup School 2026, Physical Intelligence co-founder Chelsea Finn said robotics is approaching its GPT era. She noted RL pushed robot throughput up 2x, systems can run autonomously for hours, and robotics is moving from specialized models to general-purpose systems across tasks, robots, and environments. She cited dyna-2 results showing scaling laws applying to robotics.
