Report: AI Data Centers Consume 10x Indirect Water, Competing with Western Farmers

Big Tech frequently claims that AI data centers do not consume much water. However, a new investigation reveals that facilities typically only report direct internal water usage, while indirectly consuming up to 10 times that amount. In the drought-stricken Western US, this massive demand is forcing local farmers to compete with AI oligarchs for scarce water resources.
