Samsung Adopts Claude Code, Slashing Chip Verification Time from Months to Days
Wonderful_Buffalo_32 · reddit · 2026-08-12
Samsung Electronics has adopted Anthropic's LLM Claude, dramatically reducing the time required for some semiconductor design and verification tasks, according to Korean media reports.
After granting software developers priority access to Claude Code about three months ago, significant efficiency gains emerged on the ground. In one case involving a customer-specific SoC verification, a task expected to take over a month was completed in just two days. In another instance, a second-year engineer finished development work in a single day that typically would have taken over a month.
