Open-Source Terminal TUI to Find Available Single-Word Domains
iannuttall · x · 2026-08-12
Tired of wasting time searching for single-word domain names on registrar sites, a developer built a command-line TUI tool to find them directly from the terminal. The open-source tool checks individual words or scans a bundled list of over 11,000 names across delegated TLDs. It queries registries directly via RDAP and WHOIS, saving results locally to an SQLite database so developers can quickly track and secure unclaimed domains.
