Open-Sourced Modular Jaw Upgrade for NormaCore Robot Gripper
philfung · x · 2026-08-12
A community developer has released an open-source modification for the NormaCore parallel jaw gripper, featuring a modular, swappable jaw system.
The redesign divides the gripper into easier-to-print parts and introduces interchangeable jaw interfaces to improve precision and task adaptability. Unlike the stock out-of-the-box version, this mod requires some tuning of the 3D printed gear/rack to ensure smooth sliding.
