MIT Physicist Predicts AI Will Create a 'Large Hadron Collider' for Math

MIT physicist David Turturean predicts that mathematics is heading toward a Large Hadron Collider-style future. He believes AI will inevitably overtake humans in output and complexity, reducing human scientists to tools that merely sift through and validate AI-generated results, much like early "human computers."
Drawing a parallel to the agent economy, he warned that AI could dominate economic activities, leaving humans with fewer resources. Ironically, a commenter mocked this by calling today's AI lab supercomputers "Large Symbolic Colliders."
