AI Capabilities Overstated? Researcher Debunks 6-Sigma Knowledge Worker Prediction

In response to claims that AI companies will create "6-sigma knowledge workers" this year, AI researcher Quintin Pope strongly disagrees, arguing it vastly overstates current capabilities.
He points out two main flaws in the prediction:
- Complexity: Real-world domains like software engineering are far more complex than chess or Go.
- Verification limits: We cannot scalably differentiate between 4-sigma and 6-sigma quality beyond human capabilities.
