According to media reports, CXMT's 17nm DDR5 memory yield has surpassed 90%, with substantial volume available in the South China spot market.
However, overall shipment volumes remain limited reportedly to avoid backlash from the world's top three memory manufacturers. Major US PC makers have strict policies: Dell completely bans CXMT chips, HP permits them only in products sold in mainland China, while Acer and ASUS are more flexible, primarily using them in laptops for mainland China and emerging markets.
