Rumored 50-Series Super Bumps VRAM: 5070 Ti to 24GB
PROfil_Official · reddit · 2026-08-11
Leaks suggest Nvidia's upcoming RTX 50-series Super refresh will significantly increase VRAM. Thanks to new 3GB GDDR7 modules, the 5070 Ti and 5080 could go from 16GB to 24GB, while the 5070 might hit 18GB.
For local AI developers, 24GB is a highly desired sweet spot, capable of running larger models without hunting for used 3090s or paying for 90-class pricing. However, the final cost might still be steep given the current memory market.
