Open-Source Tool 'human-blocker' Lets AI Agents Escalate to Humans When Blocked
amankhan · x · 2026-08-11
A developer shared an open-source tool and CLI called human-blocker. It allows AI agents to escalate to a human developer when they encounter genuine blockers during task execution, such as missing credentials.
The tool provides a durable SQLite ledger to track human-controlled blockers, submits native macOS notifications, prevents duplicate alerts with idempotency keys, and tracks acknowledgement and resolution states.
