Indie Dev Builds and Ships Music Study App End-to-End Using Claude Code
youthanasia669 · reddit · 2026-08-11
A developer shared their workflow of independently building and launching an application entirely using AI coding tools.
- Background: Wanting an ad-free, comprehensive tool for studying music, the developer decided to build their own.
- Toolchain & Automation: Using Claude Code, the developer created a custom harness called RoqueOS. Combined with Claude Cowork, this setup automated the entire pipeline: writing code, generating images and logos, drafting text copy, and handling app store submission.
- Model Choice: The developer utilized Claude Opus with max effort for development, achieving incredible results tailored to their needs.
The resulting app, Cadentia, is now available on the App Store for free. This case highlights the potential of a single person using AI to manage the end-to-end process from design and development to launch.
