ResidencyRL: Training AI Like Doctors Through Residency
BraydonDymm · x · 2026-08-11
The post introduces ResidencyRL, a project that mimics the training path of human doctors. Just as doctors cannot learn solely from textbooks but require residency involving thousands of patient encounters, AI can translate broad medical knowledge into clinical competence through Reinforcement Learning (RL) in simulations.
As simulations become richer, the model will develop more advanced clinical skills.
