Anthropic tasked an unreleased research version of Claude with solving the Riemann hypothesis.
While the model couldn't fully crack the problem, it made significant progress on a related issue: it increased the lower bound for the fraction of zeros of the Riemann zeta function satisfying the hypothesis from 41.6% to 67.2%.
