EU AI Act Won't Force 'AI Generated' Labels on All Blogs: SEO Misconceptions Clarified

Many SEO writers mistakenly fear the EU AI Act will mandate visible "AI Generated" labels on all AI-assisted blog posts and pages. This is not true.

The EU AI Act (Article 50) primarily targets deepfakes, synthetic media, and AI content concerning "matters of public interest" without human oversight. Its goal is to combat disinformation, not to regulate commercial blogging or copywriting.

If a human editor reviews, refines, and takes editorial responsibility for an AI-drafted piece, a visible label is not required on your site. The winning strategy remains using AI for drafting combined with human editing.
