Google Launches Gemini Omni Flash for Multimodal Video Generation
shlomifruchter · x · 2026-08-10
Google officially introduced Gemini Omni Flash, the first model in the new Omni family. It enables users to easily create and edit high-quality videos using text, image, video, or audio references.
Since opening access to developers, the community has discovered various practical applications. For instance, builders can switch camera angles, change environments, and apply cinematic zooms without losing the coherence of the original scene. Creators have already leveraged these capabilities to generate dynamic character videos featuring around 20 different perspectives, including close-ups, wide shots, and overhead angles.
