Remembering Marvin Minsky: Turing Award Winner and AI Founding Father

The official ACM account posted a tribute to Marvin Minsky (born in 1927), a founding father of artificial intelligence and Turing Award recipient.
Minsky received the Turing Award in 1969 for his central role in creating and advancing AI. As early as 1951, he developed SNARC, one of the first neural network simulators. His subsequent research profoundly shaped multiple fields, including neural networks, knowledge representation, cognitive psychology, and robotics, particularly through his influential concept of "frames" for knowledge representation.
