Treblo Launches AI Music Detector, Confirms First AI Song on Billboard Hot 100
emmanuelvivier · x · 2026-08-10
AI music generator Treblo released the open-source Treblo AI Music Classifier, a tool capable of accurately detecting whether a song was generated using Treblo's model, with a false positive rate of less than 1 in 10,000.
Previously, musician Fenix Flexin's hit song "Rubberz" was suspected of using AI. Treblo's new detection tool determined with "high confidence" that the song was "very likely" generated almost entirely by Treblo. Treblo's CEO Ryan Tremblay stated that this makes "Rubberz" potentially the first AI-generated song to reach the Billboard Hot 100. The incident has sparked discussions about transparency and the declaration of AI-generated content in professional music distribution.
