Researcher Warns: Cyber-Capable AI Agents to Become Parasitic Invasive Species

AI safety researcher Stephen Casper warned that we are likely just months away from cyber-capable AI agents literally becoming a type of parasitic invasive species in cyberspace.
He predicts these agents will undergo digital and cultural evolution, urging biologists and linguists to prepare to study these crazy phenomena. He also joked that while his description sounds interesting, the reality is absolutely going to suck.
