Maharashtra Govt Deploys Sarvam AI: 2,500 Officials to Get Indigenous AI Tools

The Maharashtra government has approved an ₹11.26 crore deployment of Sarvam AI across its departments for two years.
Around 2,500 government officials will receive access to these indigenous AI tools for drafting, document analysis, and data processing. The platform supports multilingual services, including Marathi, with all government data hosted within India.
