Claude Code Adds Cross-Session Messaging to Streamline Multi-Agent Workflows

Anthropic's CLI tool, Claude Code, now allows different sessions to message each other. When running parallel sessions for large projects, developers previously had to act as manual messengers, copying instructions between windows.
Users can now instruct Claude to send a task summary directly to another session, which picks up the work mid-task. A developer noted that this functionality closely mirrors the core concept of the open-source project agent-talk, which was built to enable coding agents to collaborate.
