Claude Code Adds Cross-Session Messaging for Smoother Multi-Agent Collaboration
goyalshaliniuk · x · 2026-08-08
Anthropic's Claude Code announced support for cross-session communication. Different sessions can now send context summaries to each other, ask questions, get answers, and notify other sessions when code changes affect their work. This feature works by sharing summaries rather than full history or files, making parallel Claude Code sessions feel more like AI agents coordinating on the same project. Available now on macOS and Linux.
