ezshine · x · 2026-08-08
X (formerly Twitter) announced a major overhaul of its creator monetization structure. The current ad revenue sharing program will be discontinued, requiring all creators to re-apply for the new 'Original Content Rewards' program.
Under the new rules, existing earnings will be paid out until September 7th, with applications for the new program opening on September 8th. Accounts previously suspended for policy violations are currently ineligible for the new program.
