NVIDIA announced an expanded strategic partnership with Mercedes-Benz to jointly develop next-generation driver assistance and automated driving systems.
The collaboration combines Mercedes-Benz's automotive engineering and MB.OS with NVIDIA's Hyperion compute and sensor architecture, Alpamayo Stack software, and the Halos safety system. The two companies previously built the first urban point-to-point driver assistance system for the Western world, and Mercedes CTO Jörg Burzer called NVIDIA its most important strategic partner in automated driving.
