Multi-Agent Orchestration Solved, but Black Hat Demo Reveals Side-Effects

Reflecting on OpenAI's Black Hat security presentation, the author notes that the once-difficult problem of getting agents to communicate with one another has now been solved, which inevitably brings security "side-effects."
He quotes his previous experience orchestrating multi-agent systems with Claude Code, pointing out that while it is extremely easy to mess up and consumes loads of compute, it can successfully perform deep semantic analysis on a corpus of 1000 research papers. However, as autonomous agent communication matures, the internet might evolve into an ecosystem swarming with self-replicating machine intelligences, akin to sci-fi scenarios.
