- Mechanism: At every step, each cell is updated to the mean temperature of its neighbors (except fixed start/end nodes). While inefficient, it requires only local communication within the maze.
- Pathfinding: Once the temperature settles, enter the maze and always walk in the hottest direction to find the exit.
