Testing Minimax H3 Accelerators: How Much Time Do EasyCache and Others Save?
Exile3D · reddit · 2026-08-07
A developer tested various acceleration methods for the Minimax H3 video generation model, providing practical benchmarks for users who want to avoid complex setups like installing Sage.
The tests were conducted on a 16:9, 0.5 MP, 5-second, 20-step text-to-video (t2v) task:
- Standard Settings: EasyCache was the fastest (1:02), followed closely by Spektrum (1:08), compared to 1:34 without any acceleration. Notably, Minimax H3 FirstBlockCache actually increased the time (1:38).
- res2s + Beta57, 10 Steps: The differences narrowed significantly. The baseline without acceleration was 1:36, while Spektrum and EasyCache were slightly slower at 1:38 and 1:40 respectively, showing minimal to no benefit.
