Ex-Anker Exec's Smart EV RV Startup Squirrel Dynamics Raises Over 200M Yuan

Smart electric RV startup Squirrel Dynamics has announced the completion of an over 200 million yuan Series A funding round. Founded by Xiao Ang, the first product manager at Anker Innovations, the company focuses on range-extended smart travel trailers, with its premium model pre-priced at nearly $160,000.
Addressing the common issue of insufficient off-grid power in traditional RVs, Squirrel Dynamics adopts a range-extender solution. Equipped with a 43kWh battery and a 75-liter fuel tank, it provides a total usable capacity of 270kWh, meeting a family's off-grid power needs for up to a week. As the primary RV user demographic in North America shifts towards younger hardcore outdoor enthusiasts, traditional giants' lack of electrification and smart capabilities presents a blue ocean for consumer electronics veterans.
