KiWear Smart Ring Hands-on: A Universal Remote Reshaping AI Interaction
智东西 · wechat · 2026-08-07
At this year's ChinaJoy, Zhidx experienced the smart ring launched by KiWear. Unlike mainstream products focused on passive health monitoring, KiWear aims to turn the ring into a "universal interaction portal" for the AI era.
Weighing less than 5 grams, the ring features high-precision motion sensors and a self-developed AI gesture recognition algorithm. It supports mid-air control across various Bluetooth devices, including phones, TVs, car screens, and AR glasses. With a gesture recognition accuracy of over 98% and latency under 100ms, it can also replace controllers in motion-sensing games. Currently, KiWear has become the standardized gesture peripheral for Qualcomm's Snapdragon XR ecosystem and plans to launch a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter on August 20, priced between $249 and $299.
