Hassabis Becomes Chair of Google DeepMind, Koray Kavukcuoglu Steps Up as SVP

Demis Hassabis announced he is stepping into the role of Chair of Google DeepMind and Chief Scientist of Alphabet. He will focus on long-term strategy and accelerating scientific breakthroughs, including curing disease via Isomorphic Labs. Koray Kavukcuoglu will step up as SVP to lead DeepMind.
